S-video is a huge step above composite or RF. While it's not as good as RGB, s-video is a cheap high quality solution for those that don't have a TV that supports RGB, or don't want to shell out cash for a converter. The video output was a bit dark for me. You might want to consider using a weaker resistor on your luma signal than me.

Resolution of these images is low for this web site, and some have screwed up aspect ratios. You can view much higher quality images here. You can also e-mail me if imgur quality isn't good enough and you need the original low compression 4000x3000 images, or images without the text.
